The Pittsburgh Steelers just completed a 24-19 AFC Championship Game victory over the New York Jets. It’s an especially heartbreaking loss for the Jets, who staged a valiant second-half comeback, and of course a huge win for the Steelers, who now try to win their second Super Bowl title in three years.
Understandably, the Steelers couldn’t contain their excitement as they knelt down to let the final seconds tick off the clock. And as quarterback Ben Roethlisberger took the first of those knees, running back Rashard Mendenhall wound up on top of him. No big deal…happens when you back up/kneel down. But then…Mendenhall started thrusting. And that’s when things got a little odd.
