Netflix Login, Queue DOWN. Netflix Login, Queue DOWN – Online video rental site Netflix suffered a major power outage today. The company which proudly revealed that they were going to sell their services in Canada and announced that they had one of their best days in the stock market – had a major down time all in the same day.
The online giant was hoping to celebrated their newly added 1.9 million subscribers but instead had to spend an entire day on Twitter posting updates trying to explain to their users as to why the site vanished and when it would be up.
The video subscription service was unavailable from at 4:30 p.m. ET to 7:15 p.m. ET without a real explanation.
The 15 million clients complained that they could not see the site on PC or Mac, iPhone and iPad, game consoles Wii nor on PlayStation 3 .
The site is almost back to normal this evening but does periodically break down.
