UNDATED (WREX) - One of the largest lottery jackpots in U.S. history is up for grabs tonight.
One winning ticket in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery game tonight is now worth $355 million.
"This is a very exciting time for Illinois Lottery players," said Illinois Lottery's Acting Superintendent Jodie Winnett. "With the holidays ending and everyone starting a new year, this would be a great treat to any of our Illinois residents."
Mega Millions tickets are available in Illinois and Wisconsin.
The largest Mega Millions jackpot was $390 million in 2007. The prize was shared by two players in Georgia and New Jersey.
If tonight's jackpot is not won, it will roll to Friday night's drawing.
