New Apple iPad 2 Specs and Price. New Apple iPad 2 Released date on March 2, 2011! Apple is holding their special event where they will be announcing their new iPad 2 tablet. The Apple iPad 2 release date, price, and specs will finally be revealed. The event is only open to those who received special invitations and will take place during 10:00 AM Pacific or 1:00 PM Eastern time in the Yerba Buena Center for Arts Theater in San Francisco, California.
New Apple iPad 2 Specifications and Features:
* The iPad 2 is expected to have a camera a better screen that supports Facetime
* Apple’s Retina display present in the iPhone 4 is also expected to be a part of the next generation iPad
* An increase in display resolution and above 7-inch display. However, there are also some speculations that the iPad 2 will have a 5.6-inch screen, but based on what Steve Jobs often say that “there won’t be a 7-inch iPad 2”, then this speculation is not really possible at all
* An increase in memory is also expected
* A possible 2 GHz processor
* Wireless printing feature

The new sleek iPad 2 that offered in 2 models – iPad 2 with Wi-Fi and iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, will be available through apple.com online store, brick-and-mortar Apple retail stores, Verizon, and AT&T beginning March 11, 2011, followed by 26 more countries to get iPad 2 tablet on March 25 – Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
No pre-order is available though. Consumers able to start buying from Apple Online Store from March 11 with free shipping or buy in store on Apple Retail Store starting at 5:00 p.m. on March 11.
iPad 2 with Wi-Fi only model is available in 3 variants of internal memory storage – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, are priced at $499, $599 and $699, respectively. While iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G model adds more $130 compared to iPad 2 Wi-Fi, which are $629 (16GB), $729 (32GB) and $829 (64GB).
