Mick Jagger Grammys performance video 2011. He may be 67 years old, but the Mick Jagger Grammys performance last night on the 53rd Annual Grammys celebration proved to show us all that the old-time rock and roller still has ‘it’. We’ve got the video of Jagger’s first ever stage appearance on music’s biggest night here! You are going to want to check this out!

Last night February 13th, 2011, Mick Jagger rocked a pair of black skinny jeans with a gold belt buckle and a turquoise blazer like no other, but it was when he took the stage that he had the audience moving to the music and wanting more. Jagger paid tribute to Solomon Burke (who passed away late last year) by singing Everybody Needs Somebody to Love during the Grammys show. Let me just say this: Jagger owned that stage! It was a performance that had Will Smith dancing and Cyndi Lauper moving her hips.

Guitarist Raphael Saadig also joined the legend on stage for an energetic fist-pumping stage show. It was one of those moments that could have went on all night and the crowd would not have objected. Sure, Jagger is a known rocker, but he sure showed off his soulful side during the night’s event. And can you believe that this was officially Jagger’s first appearance at this show? Nope, me neither.

I just found it hard to believe that this was Jagger’s first Grammys formal appearance. I know, right? It was many years back that Jagger appeared at the Grammys via satellite to accept a lifetime achievement award in honor of his legendary band the Rolling Stones.

Check out the Mick Jagger Grammys performance of Everybody Needs Somebody to Love in honor of the legendary Solomon Burke below.
