Tucson Shooting Victims Remembered in Fresno. The motive in the Tucson shooting remains unclear, but some believe right wing rhetoric may have played a part.
On Tuesday night, people gathered outside the KMJ studios in Fresno to remember the shooting victims.
The vigil was organized by the Fresno County Democratic Central Committee, Peace Fresno and other groups.
People held candles and signs with the names of the victims.
"This is the site of KMJ radio station which unfortunately is the local talk radio station that chooses to broadcast 24/7 really what I consider to be intolerant messages," said Connie Peterson, a KMJ critic.
"To suggest that KMJ would have any affiliation with this horrible tragedy is absurd, and it's unfair to listeners, to my staff," said KMJ-AM & FM General Manager Patty Hickson.
Everyone agreed they are concerned and sympathetic to the victims and their families.
